Beyond the classroom, our students have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of school-sponsored activities.
Our academic program is further enriched by extracurricular programs and experiences.
Clubs change annually based on student and teacher interest. We encourage students to bring their ideas.
Field trips offer a chance for students to learn outside the classroom. Field trips are provided over the course of the school year, and depending on grade level typically include excursions throughout the Toledo area. Information regarding field trips, times, and locations will be provided to the parents by classroom teachers and administration.
Counselor provides free counseling for students enrolled in the school. This program is offered based upon their assessment of the child. All students are eligible to participate in the counseling program through recommendation.
Students living 1-5 miles from STAR Academy may benefit from free bus transportation provided by Trinity Transportation. Families must apply for this service by filling out the Transportation Request Form and turning it in to the school office.
Breakfast and Lunch
Healthy bodies fuel healthy minds! All students receive free breakfast and free lunch each school day as part of the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Each healthy meal is prepared on campus and includes protein, fruits, vegetables, whole grain products, and milk. Throughout the week, we also offer fresh fruit and vegetable snacks in between meal times.
